Delivery Area Map
Delivery, installation and familiarisation
Upon receiving an equipment order we will send out confirmation to the Client in an accessible format.
Prior to delivery all computer hardware, peripherals and software will be installed and configured suitably. The computer system will be tested to ensure that everything is working correctly.
We will deliver equipment within 10 working days of receipt of funding confirmation. This timescale may be adversely affected by changes or additions to the equipment specification, fuel shortages, sub-contractor industrial problems, non-availability of items etc. If we expect a delay in obtaining an item from the order we may make a part delivery and follow up with a further delivery when the items become available.
The delivery, installation and familiarisation will be carried out by a trained engineer.
Upon delivery our engineer will set up the equipment and take the Client through a process of familiarisation: an introduction to using the computer, how to use peripherals, how to access the internet, how to back-up and restore data, anti-Virus protection, how to request technical support.
Post Installation Follow Up
We contact each Client a few days after installation to confirm that they are satisfied with the equipment and to answer any questions they may have.

The Assistive Technology Service provided by Clear Links is a regional service. We believe that allows us to provide the best quality supply and support service.
We are based in Sheffield. Our on-site Maintenance and Support service is based on a 2 hour driving distance from our base.
Clear Links Clients approved by funding bodies will have been determined on the basis of the 2 hour driving distance area. However should a Client be further away from their usual residence and require maintenance and support, Clear Links can offer a return-to-base support service by courier for the whole of the UK mainland.
