Delivery and Installation

Delivery, installation and familiarisation

Upon receiving an equipment order we will send out confirmation to the student in an accessible format.

Prior to delivery all computer hardware, peripheries and software will be installed and configured correctly. The computer system will be tested to ensure that everything is working smoothly.

We aim to deliver equipment within 5 working days of receipt of the order. Occasionally this may not be possible, for example, if the student is unavailable, or additions/alterations are requested to the original specification. If we expect a delay in obtaining an item from the order we will make a part delivery and follow up with a further delivery when the items become available.

The delivery, installation and familiarisation will be carried out by a trained IT engineer.

Upon delivery our IT engineer will set up the equipment and take the student through a process of familiarisation: an introduction to using the computer, how to use peripheries, how to access the internet, how to back-up and restore data, anti-Virus protection, how to request technical support.

Post Installation Follow Up

We contact each student a few days after installation to confirm that they are satisfied with the equipment and to answer any questions they may have.
