Support Worker Registration Process

Steps to registering

Below are the 5 steps outlining the registration process. Please read these steps and then click on the "Register online now" box to be taken to the registration form.

Please note: To register you must be aged 18 or over. You will need to read and accept the Terms of Engagement for Support Workers which constitute a contract between Clear Links and the support worker. By registering on Clear Links’ website, accepting the Assignment Confirmation or commencing the provision of the Services (whichever is earliest) the Support Worker is deemed to have accepted the Terms in their entirety.

Step 1

If you are interested in working with us please complete an on-line registration form and attach a current C.V. You will need to read and accept the Terms of Engagement for Support Workers which constitute a contract between Clear Links and the support worker. By registering on Clear Links’ website, accepting the Assignment Confirmation or commencing the provision of the Services (whichever is earliest) the Support Worker is deemed to have accepted the Terms in their entirety.


Step 2

Clear Links Support Ltd will consider the information you have provided and then make contact with you. You may be invited to a pre-arranged meeting with our local representative. Alternatively, you may be asked to provide the information we require by post.


Step 3

If you are invited to a meet with our representative you will be required to bring all necessary Documentation (open in separate window) to the pre-arranged meeting. At this stage you will be asked to:

  • Fill out a timetable indicating when you are available to work. (If you are also a student it would be helpful if you could also indicate when you are timetabled for lectures.)
  • Note taker role: Complete a handwriting assessment at the meeting and bring two examples of your own note taking to determine your suitability for the role of note taker.

Step 4

After successful registration your details will be stored on our database. We store this information to enable us to contact you and pay you. Your skills, experience and qualifications are used to match you with one of our clients (see Data Protection for more information). Working with Clear Links requires you to complete an enhanced CRB disclosure and Clear Links will discuss this with you when it is appropriate. Step 5

Once matched with a client Clear Links Support Ltd is the first point of contact for any queries. We provide all paperwork and documentation, including job descriptions, time sheets, guidance and information leaflets. Our Terms of Engagement confirm that you have a Contract for Services. You will be paid via our payroll. We are required to make statutory deductions from remuneration including, if applicable, National Insurance Contributions, Income Tax and any other deductions required by law. The Contract for Services between you and Clear Links Support Ltd governs all assignments undertaken by you through Clear Links Support Ltd. No contract for services exists between you and Clear Links Support Ltd between assignments.
