True NMH Support Experts

True experts with relevant qualifications and experience make up our Support Service, Quality Assurance Team and Development Team.

Clear Links’ office based staff hold the following qualifications:

  • Dyslexia; PGCert Supporting Adults in Higher Education with SpLDs, PGCert Teaching Adults with SpLD in Higher Education (FE/HE), and OCR Level 5 Diploma in Teaching Learners with Dyslexia/SPLD
  • Autism/Asperger syndrome, 3 staff holding qualifications in PGCert Autism and Communication and PGCert Autism and Asperger Syndrome
  • Notetaker training, staff qualified through the courses: City Lit Train the Trainer and CACDP Notetaking for Deaf People – tutor training
  • Sighted Guide(Mobility and Orientation qualification)
  • Sight impairment, Certificate in Visual Impairment, Diploma in working with students with sight impairment
  • D/deaf and hearing awareness, 3 staff holding Sign Language up to CACDP Level 3 BSL.

Our team of dedicated specialist developers have created Crystal, and made our system flexible, reliable and easy to use.

  • HEP partners can access and export records and all management information required.
  • Students have access to guidance and their diary which shows all booked session details. They also confirm timesheets and submit feedback through their access to Crystal.
  • Support Workers have access to training, guidance, assignment details and timesheet submission through Crystal.

Clear Links’ system is fully customisable and our team of in-house specialist developers ensure that reports are tailored to suit specific requirements.

nationwide network of 15,000 motivated, qualified and committed support workers has been built over the past 10 years thanks to our supportive culture and excellent benefits.

Clear Links’ support workers receive above national living wage remuneration, training & CPD and continuous support through our specialist, qualified and experienced office staff and our online system, Crystal.

Students can give feedback on their support workers at any time. We use the feedback to tailor our training and guidance, as well as feeding it back to each support worker so that they know what a valuable service they provide.

Student Satisfaction

92% of all students supported in the 15/16 academic year by Clear Links have given us feedback, resulting in an outstanding 98.5% satisfaction rate!

All feedback is monitored daily by our Quality Assurance Team, and responded to quickly and efficiently. We pride ourselves in delivering excellent customer service to both students and HEPs.

This is achieved by actively seeking feedback, and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), both of which are a priority for our dedicated Quality Assurance team.

Development Plans, Session Records and Development Review

The only provider to quality assure Development Plans, Session Records and Development Reviews for all students accessing tutor and mentor support with Clear Links.

Our Quality Assurance Team monitors submissions daily, and takes appropriate actions wherever necessary.

With the benefits of Plans, Session Records and Reviews, Clear Links underpins students’ understanding of the role and its boundaries, and helps to provide appropriate focus.

Clear Links assist students with achieving learning strategies as recommended in the Needs Assessment Report (NAR) and with developing as independent learners.
