Half Day ADHD — Understanding ADHD in the Workplace

This three-hour session offers a comprehensive overview of ADHD, with focus on the different types of ADHD and how factors such as age and gender can influence presentations in the workplace. We explore common stereotypes and myths, equipping participants with a more diverse and inclusive understanding of ADHD that more accurately reflects lived experience.

The session also explores practical strategies for overcoming workplace barriers, including reasonable adjustments and supportive approaches that can be adopted by managers, colleagues, and the wider organisation. Stress Management in the Workplace — Understanding Stress and Building Resilience

This two-hour session provides a practical introduction to stress awareness and management, exploring how stress affects the mind, body, behaviour, and overall wellbeing. Participants will develop a greater understanding of common workplace and personal stressors, learn to recognise their own stress responses and triggers, and explore the impact stress can have on performance, relationships, and decision-making.

Participants will gain practical, evidence-informed techniques to manage stress more effectively, including strategies for regulating emotions, managing overwhelm, setting healthy boundaries, and building resilience. The session aims to increase confidence in recognising early warning signs of stress and implementing sustainable approaches to support wellbeing both in and outside of work.

Half Day Disability Awareness — Creating Inclusive and Accessible Working Environments

A comprehensive introduction to disability awareness, exploring the role organisations play in creating inclusive and accessible environments. Participants will develop an understanding of inclusive practice through both legal and social model perspectives, whilst examining the barriers that disabled people may experience in employment and everyday workplace interactions.

Participants will gain practical knowledge of inclusive communication, disability disclosure, reasonable adjustments, and employer responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010. The session also explores the benefits of becoming a Disability Confident employer, equipping attendees with the confidence and tools needed to contribute to a more inclusive workplace culture where disabled employees can thrive.
